About Me

Well, what can I say and where do I start and how much time do you have? JK...My name is Kerri and my husband is Shane and together we are a family of SEVEN! Its the mine, his and ours thing. Mine being Jade (20)& Jalen (17). His being Riley (19) & Brooklynn (17) and OURS being Jagger (4). Oh and Febe, how could I forget Febe dog, she has been around for 10 years! Our life is complicated and busy, teenagers going every which way and a 4 year-old to boot. Jade is back to Dixie State College this fall and working for our business, "Stairways", Jalen is a Senior this year at Desert Hills High School in St George and playing Football(Captain) & Wrestling, Riley graduated from Canyon View High School in 2009 and now working in Cedar City, Brooklynn is a Senior and just moved to Austin, Texas where she will finish High School. She is involved in the FFA and is also an expert texter, and Jaggy is perfecting the art of being a four-year old, riding bikes and playing cars is his specialty. He is attending Barefoot Montessori Preschool this year and learning to read.

St George Knights Rugby Team









A little catching up to do...these are pics from Jade & Jalens rugby game last week. They both play on the same team. The first pic shows Jade in the middle next to the kid with the headband. And the bottom pic shows Jalen with the ball where just after the pic he passed the ball and they scored! This sport makes me nervous...it is rougher than football and they don't wear helmets or pads! I just pray they make it through the season unscathed!
Jalen is still in the middle of freestyle wrestling...he has taken first place at every tournament he has been to. State Freestyle and Roman Greco Tournament is April 24th and 25th.
Jade has a few more weeks of school and he has completed his freshman year of college already. He is working at Peppers Cantina as a server and everyone loves him there.

Happy 16th Birthday Jalen







Ready, Set, Watch OUT!!! Well he did it! Jalen had his 16th birthday a couple weeks ago and he got his usual "wrestlers cake" made of gatorade, power bars and fruit snacks. He is still trying to maintain his 145 lb physique. And finally today, 1-28-09, he got his Drivers License. You may recognize his ride, his dad gave him his old truck so he is officially "on the road". Look at that SMILE!!! It is going to be there for a while!
