About Me

Well, what can I say and where do I start and how much time do you have? JK...My name is Kerri and my husband is Shane and together we are a family of SEVEN! Its the mine, his and ours thing. Mine being Jade (20)& Jalen (17). His being Riley (19) & Brooklynn (17) and OURS being Jagger (4). Oh and Febe, how could I forget Febe dog, she has been around for 10 years! Our life is complicated and busy, teenagers going every which way and a 4 year-old to boot. Jade is back to Dixie State College this fall and working for our business, "Stairways", Jalen is a Senior this year at Desert Hills High School in St George and playing Football(Captain) & Wrestling, Riley graduated from Canyon View High School in 2009 and now working in Cedar City, Brooklynn is a Senior and just moved to Austin, Texas where she will finish High School. She is involved in the FFA and is also an expert texter, and Jaggy is perfecting the art of being a four-year old, riding bikes and playing cars is his specialty. He is attending Barefoot Montessori Preschool this year and learning to read.

Well, a little catching up to do with no photos today...Lets see, football is over, wrestling has started and Dora the Explorer is very popular at our house. Football ended on a rather strange note for our family. It so happens, that Jalen and Riley are in the same Region and both teams had the worst records in the region. There are 4 teams total in the region and they only took 3 to state playoffs...so that meant the game between Jalen(Desert Hills) and Riley(Canyon View) was the decision maker for who got to go to playoffs. It turns out DH won and Jalen got to go. He was pretty excited and Riley felt pretty bad. How do you cheer for both sides and be happy for one and sad for another at the same time....Well anyway, DH went on to play Logan in the first game of playoffs and lost, so football is now over. Wrestling has started and Jalen has began to suck weight...I hate this part. Jade is an assistant coach at Desert Hills and is helping Jalen a lot. It is pretty weird to see his name on things as "Coach Weaver", but I think its pretty cute. Jagger is so into Dora right now, we finally have him convinced that she is a girl. It took at least a week for this to be accepted and sink in, but I think he has it now. The one thing he wants everyone to know is he is "JAGGER BOY!". Not to be confused with Dude, guy, or any other thing you might call him. I will put more pics on later...

It's soo good to hear from you... It's fun to see what everyone has been up to.Love to see some pics! Life is so busy isn't it? I thought for sure once we got our kids all raised and married things would for sure settle down.. N O T
It seemS by the time you try to keep up with your married kids and grandkids in different activities and work, time is still gettimg away from you. Then they say when you retire LIFE really gets busy... Your either way too busy doing things or your health won't let you do a damn thing.. Crazy Huh. Tell everyone hi for us and even littLE JAGGER BOY!!!!! Miss you guys!
